Before PLANERGY

Two years ago, Kristin Martin, controller at Nysus, had difficulty finding a software solution that could integrate seamlessly with their existing systems and allow significant customization to meet their unique project-based and procurement needs.

They were purchasing more than they had in the past and needed software to automate things. Afterwards Kristin experienced frustrations with their previous provider, Procurement Express, mainly due to an ongoing lack of timely support and updates. They encountered significant problems with the software, including frequent malfunctions and an inability to resolve issues. The promise of fixes didn’t materialize, creating a sense of distrust in the system.

Transitioning to a new system was going to be challenging, and they needed a solution that employees could quickly adopt and use efficiently. And Nysus really needed detailed and customizable reporting capabilities to effectively manage project costs, track open purchase orders, and analyze vendor spending for potential discounts.

There was an urgent need for a system to help mitigate the risk of duplicate payments and to secure financial accuracy and efficiency. After several months of struggling with manual processes due to these failures, they decided they needed a new solution. Their AP person, Natalie, also had a hard time manually creating a huge number of Excel spreadsheets, and Kristin felt they needed better use of her time. This is where PLANERGY jumped in.
